Watermelon Mimosa by FLUTE

If you are looking for a new idea for your Sunday brunch cocktail to change things up a little we have an idea for you! Why don’t you serve your guests a delicious Watermelon Mimosas! It’s simple to make and yum!

Here is what you need Watermelon Mimosas:

  • 1 small watermelon, peeled and cubed (to yield about 6 cups watermelon cubes)
  • Juice of 2 small limes
  • (1) 750ml bottle dry sparkling wine, chilled

Here is what to do:
Purée the watermelon cubes in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain the watermelon using a fine-mesh strainer. Add the lime juice. Mix the watermelon mimosa with the champagne. Start with roughly equal parts of agua fresca to champagne, then tweak to your taste.
